AEROGO's Young Champs at Technoxian - World Robotic Championship

At AEROGO, we believe in the boundless potential of young minds, and nothing exemplifies this more than our recent experience at the Technoxian World Robotics Championship. What began as a simple interest from a few students quickly turned into an inspiring journey that showcased the incredible resilience, determination, and talent of our young aeromodelling enthusiasts.

The Spark of Interest

It all started with a message in our Aeromodelling WhatsApp Community Group about the Technoxian World Robotics Championship. Several parents responded with enthusiasm, mentioning their children's interest in participating. Among them were four students—three from different parts of Bangalore and one from Surat. These students, all in 6th and 7th grade, were eager to take on the challenge, despite their busy school schedules.

Training Against the Clock

With only Sundays available for training due to their weekday classes, we faced the daunting task of preparing them in just five weeks. Our Bangalore students trained at the AEROGO office, while a dedicated team member traveled to Surat for a week to ensure our students there received the same level of instruction.

Despite the time constraints, our students showed remarkable dedication. They quickly learned how to build a plane according to competition specifications, mastered the intricacies of flying, and practiced complex maneuvers. Their progress was nothing short of extraordinary.

Facing the Competition

As the competition dates approached, nerves began to set in. We learned that 72 teams were participating, many of whom were well-versed in aeromodelling and robotics, including engineering students. Our students, who had only five Sundays of training, were up against formidable opponents. However, they remained hopeful and determined to give their best.

On August 23rd, the team arrived in Delhi, ready to face the challenge. The next day, as fate would have it, our students were the first to fly. Despite the pressure, they executed their flight with precision and skill, scoring an impressive 75 points out of 100.

Rising Above Expectations

As the competition progressed, it became evident that our students had something special. While some engineering students struggled with their flights, our team’s planes flew smoothly. We even had competitors and spectators approaching us, curious about the silent motors used in our models—a testament to the meticulous work and quality of training our students had received.

What We Didn't Expect

After the competition, something truly heartwarming happened. One of the student, along with their parent, visited our company to celebrate the achievement. We all gathered to mark this special moment, and the student, who had worked so hard and made us so proud, led the celebration with a big smile on their face. It was a simple but meaningful gesture that reminded us of the impact we have on these young lives. This unexpected celebration filled us with joy and reinforced our commitment to nurturing the talents of young minds. Moments like these show that our work is about more than just winning competitions—it’s about building lasting memories and relationships.

Conclusion

This experience at the Technoxian World Robotics Championship has not only filled us with pride but has also reaffirmed our belief in the power of dedication and passion. Our students, despite their young age and limited training time, stood tall among seasoned competitors. They are the true superheroes of this journey, proving that with the right guidance and a lot of heart, even the sky is not the limit. We are incredibly proud of them and look forward to many more such inspiring stories in the future.
